- Node-hosted skills: node.skills.update publishes ~/.openclaw/skills
content (64 skills/64KB/512KB caps both sides); gateway merges them into

node:// locators, node-prefixed collisions, disabled command dispatch,
and gateway.nodes.skills.enabled + nodeHost.skills.enabled switches.
- Security: node-supplied pluginIds cannot satisfy pluginId-scoped tool
allowlists unless gateway-registered; reserved node-mcp id requires the
core MCP descriptor shape; protocol registry kept out of public
plugin-sdk dts.
- E2E: pond harness proves publication, MCP round-trip, skills locator, and
disconnect/reconnect for all three surfaces.

* feat(mattermost): add opt-in DM threading via dmReplyToMode
Resolves#93203.
Mattermost direct messages are hardcoded non-threaded: resolveMattermostReplyToMode
returns "off" for direct chats before consulting config, and the reply-root /
effective-reply resolvers short-circuit for direct chats. So every DM accretes into
one ever-growing session with unbounded per-session token usage, with no way to
isolate each DM topic the way groups/channels (and Slack) can.
Add channels.mattermost.dmReplyToMode (same enum as replyToMode), default "off" so
existing flat-DM deployments are unchanged. When set to "first"/"all", a DM @mention
starts an independent, thread-scoped session:
- resolveMattermostReplyToMode: direct chats return config.dmReplyToMode ?? "off".
- resolveMattermostEffectiveReplyToId: direct early-return gated on replyToMode "off"
(the value already reflects dmReplyToMode for direct chats).
- resolveMattermostReplyRootId: direct early-return gated on the absence of a thread
root (a DM carries one only when DM threading is enabled).
- New DM threads start fresh (no parent-session inheritance) so each topic is isolated;
a threaded DM keeps its own history key while a flat DM root keeps none.
Default-off preserves the documented flat-DM contract, so this changes no existing
behavior. Adds unit coverage and documents the opt-in. The only open question is the
knob shape (dmReplyToMode enum vs a boolean dmThreading) — happy to adjust.

dmReplyToMode was wired into the account config type and reply
resolution but never added to MattermostConfigSchema, so setting it in
openclaw.json failed config validation ("must not have additional
properties: dmReplyToMode") and the gateway refused to start — the knob
could not actually be enabled. Register it in the schema, regenerate the
bundled channel config metadata and doc baseline, and add a
config-schema test.
* fix(mattermost): thread direct reply transport when dmReplyToMode is on
resolveReplyTransport nulled the direct reply root/thread id
unconditionally, so routed replies and message-tool follow-ups in an
opted-in DM thread were still sent flat even when the effective
replyToMode was first/all. Keep direct transport flat only when the mode
is off (the historical contract) and preserve the thread root otherwise,
matching the monitor-level DM threading gates. Adds channel.test.ts
coverage for resolveReplyTransport.

Mirrors the existing Discord `ignoreOtherMentions` option for Slack
channels. When set on a channel entry, drop channel/group/MPIM messages
that mention another user or subteam but not this bot — the inverse of
`requireMention`. Useful in busy channels where the bot would otherwise
reply to side conversations.
Implementation lives in `prepareSlackMessage` right after the
`allowBots: "mentions"` bot-drop gate and before the `shouldRequireMention`
non-mention drop, so it integrates with the new `messageIngress` ingress
pipeline. The gate is conditional on `canDetectMention` (botUserId
resolvable via `auth.test` or explicit mention regexes configured) to
avoid false drops when we have no reliable way to tell bot vs non-bot
mentions apart.
Slack implicit mentions (thread participation) are intentionally NOT
respected here — they fire for every message in a bot-participated
thread, so honoring them would defeat the feature in any active thread.
The gate matches on `wasMentioned` (explicit) and `hasAnyMention`, with
the existing `shouldBypassMention` override (e.g. authorized commands)
also respected.
Includes config types, zod schema, channel-config resolution,
prepare-message implementation, full test coverage in
`prepare.test.ts`, regenerated channel + docs baselines, and Slack
docs entry.

Released imsg carries the pollPayloadMessage selector (poll create) but
predates the poll.vote CLI/RPC. Gating both poll and poll-vote on that
selector alone would advertise a vote action the released CLI rejects.
Gate poll-vote additionally on the advertised poll.vote rpc method so this
plugin can ship ahead of the imsg release.

Codex review flagged the discovery gate as bypassable: a caller that already

Adds `messages.responseUsage` (precedence session -> channel -> config default
-> off) so the persistent /usage footer can default-on, with three distinct
states: explicit on (tokens/full), explicit off (persisted), and unset (inherit
the configured default).
Unifies effective-value resolution behind a single channel-aware resolver
`resolveEffectiveResponseUsage` used by reply rendering, the no-arg /usage
toggle, the ACP control, and the gateway session-row builder; the row builder's
`effectiveResponseUsage` is carried through sessions.changed events, chat
snapshots, and the UI row so live consumers never go stale. `/usage reset`
(aliases inherit/clear/default) clears the override to inherit; only explicit
off persists; a full session reset preserves the preference. ACP "Usage detail"
gains an "inherit" option for unset sessions. Docs/help/completions updated; "on"

Replaces the opt-in catchup subsystem with always-on inbound replay
protection that brings iMessage in line with the other channels, and
fixes#89237 (stale backlog dispatched as fresh after bridge recovery).
- New inbound-dedupe.ts: persistent claimable GUID dedupe (claim/commit/
release) plus a stale-backlog age fence that suppresses live rows whose
send date is materially older than arrival (logged, never silent).
- monitor-provider: claim at ingestion, carry the exact claimed key on the
debouncer entry, commit on successful flush / release on dispatch failure
(per-unit so a coalesced bucket cannot strand a sibling claim). Keeps the
local startup since_rowid watermark so startup-window rows are not skipped.
- Deprecate catchup: delete catchup.ts + catchup-bridge.ts, remove the
channels.imessage.catchup schema, cursor migration, and config-guard nag.
Back-compat: strip the retired key before validation; new imessage doctor

old catchup subsystem. On startup the monitor passes the last dispatched rowid
(a persisted per-account cursor) to imsg watch.subscribe as since_rowid, so imsg
replays the messages that landed while the gateway was down, then tails live.
The GUID dedupe drops anything already handled, so no cursor/retry bookkeeping
is needed.
- recovery-cursor.ts: minimal persisted per-account lastDispatchedRowid.
- monitor-provider: since_rowid = cursor (capped to the most recent
IMESSAGE_RECOVERY_MAX_ROWS); split the age fence on the startup rowid boundary
so replayed rows (<= boundary) use the wider recovery window and live rows
(> boundary) keep the tight #89237 fence; advance the cursor on commit.
- Local only: remote SSH cliPath cannot read chat.db, so it tails from the
current rowid (suppress-and-move-on) as before.
Restores missed-message recovery that the catchup removal dropped, with no
config and a fraction of the old LOC.

cursor past it.
- Suppressed live backlog could be re-delivered after a restart: a live row
suppressed under the tight live fence was not recorded, so after a restart it
fell under the wider recovery window (its rowid now below the new boundary)
and was delivered. Commit its dedupe key on suppression so the recovery
replay treats it as already handled.
Both caught by Codex autoreview. Adds regression tests for the floor and the
suppression record.

Allow persisted provider model entries to carry strict thinkingLevelMap values so Microsoft Foundry Entra onboarding can save generated reasoning model config. Closes#91011.
Add memory.qmd.rerank as an opt-out for QMD query reranking when searchMode is query.
When set to false, direct QMD query calls pass --no-rerank and the mcporter unified query tool receives rerank:false. Search and vsearch modes keep their existing behavior.

Provider-scoped configured regex mention patterns for Discord, Matrix, Slack, Telegram, and WhatsApp.
Native platform mentions keep their existing behavior, and unsupported channels do not opt into the new regex policy path. The new policy supports per-channel allow/deny routing through mentionPatterns.mode with allowIn and denyIn so group auto-reply regexes can be limited without broad global blast radius.
