218dcd815a feat(tooling): enforce noUncheckedIndexedAccess in the extensions lane (NUIA phase 4) (#105132)
* fix(extensions): make indexed access explicit across channel plugins

Transport-payload-safe burn-down: malformed Telegram/Discord/QQ/LINE
and sibling channel input keeps existing skip paths; no synthesized
fields, no new throws in delivery loops. Zalo escape sentinels preserve
literal matches instead of undefined replacements.

* fix(extensions): make indexed access explicit across provider and memory plugins

Stream and model iteration, tool-block guards, capture guards, and
sparse accumulators; singleton model reads carry named invariants.

* fix(extensions): make indexed access explicit across tooling plugins, flip the extensions lane

Remaining plugins (oc-path, qa-lab, browser, logbook, and siblings) plus
the tsconfig.extensions.json flag flip. Cleanup: logbook sampleFrames
NaN index at max=1, QA retry clamp at non-positive attempts, dead Canvas
probe and OpenShell no-op slice removed, twitch test setup leak excluded
from the prod lane.

* refactor(plugin-sdk): expose expectDefined via a focused SDK subpath

Extensions imported @openclaw/normalization-core directly, crossing the
external-plugin packaging boundary (it only worked because the runtime
builder bundles undeclared workspace helpers). expect-runtime joins the
canonical entrypoints JSON, generated exports, API baseline, docs, and
subpath contract test; all 78 extension imports now use the SDK seam.
Two scanner-shaped locals renamed for review-bundle hygiene.

* chore(plugin-sdk): raise surface budgets for the expect-runtime subpath

One new entrypoint with one callable export, added intentionally as the
packaging-honest seam for extension invariant helpers.

* fix(anthropic): delegate adaptive CLI effort

Strip static --effort args for adaptive runs so Claude Code resolves effort from its environment, settings, and model default. Preserve configured effort for off or absent thinking and replace it only for concrete OpenClaw levels.

97bbbc2271 feat(agents): derive a provider-declared default utility model when unset (#103769)
* feat(agents): derive a provider-declared default utility model when unset

When agents.defaults.utilityModel is not set, utility tasks (titles, progress
narration) now use the primary provider's declared small model
(modelCatalog.providers.<id>.defaultUtilityModel: OpenAI -> gpt-5.6-luna,
Anthropic -> claude-haiku-4-5). Auth is inherent because derivation follows
the agent's primary provider. Setting utilityModel to an empty string
disables utility routing entirely; narration turns on automatically when a
default resolves and stays off otherwise.

Formatting/lint/tests verified on Testbox (oxfmt, oxlint, plugins:inventory,
docs:map, import-cycles, check:test-types, 4 test files).

* fix(ai): drop the temperature parameter for models that reject it

The GPT-5.6 family 400s on temperature via the Responses API (live-verified:
gpt-5.6-luna/-terra reject it; gpt-5.5 and gpt-5.4-mini/nano accept it).
supportsOpenAITemperature gates all three OpenAI payload builders, with a
catalog compat override (compat.supportsTemperature) declared for the 5.6
family in the openai manifest. Without this, utility tasks (titles,
narration) would fail once gpt-5.6-luna becomes the derived default.

Gates on Testbox: oxfmt, oxlint, plugins:inventory, import-cycles,
check:test-types, 6 test files. Live proof on Testbox: gpt-5.6-luna and
claude-haiku-4-5 one-shot completions succeed with temperature requested.

* fix(agents): carry the primary model's auth profile onto the derived utility default

A primary like openai/gpt-5.5@work previously reached utility tasks via the
profiled fallback; the derived default shares the provider, so its trailing
auth profile carries over instead of silently switching to default
credentials (Codex review). Gates on Testbox: oxfmt, check:test-types, tests.

* docs: realign the manifest provider-fields table after adding defaultUtilityModel

740e7687e8 fix(anthropic): don't crash models list when a configured Sonnet 5 model has no cost (#102186)
* fix(anthropic): don't crash models list when a configured Sonnet 5 model has no cost

applyAnthropicSonnet5Cost read params.model.cost.input unconditionally, so
'openclaw models list' aborted with 'Cannot read properties of undefined
(reading input)' whenever config supplied an anthropic Sonnet 5 model row
without cost metadata (e.g. an agents.defaults.models runtime binding).
Guard with optional chaining — a costless model now falls through and gets
the canonical Sonnet 5 cost applied.

8e56cf591d fix(cli): disable ScheduleWakeup/CronCreate in --print claude runs (#84434)
Claude Code built-ins ScheduleWakeup and CronCreate schedule a deferred
re-invocation managed by the persistent CLI runtime. In OpenClaw's
one-shot `claude -p` invocations the process exits at end_turn, so any
wakeup or cron registered during the run has no host to fire into and is
silently lost. Symptom: a CLI session spawns a background sub-agent,
calls ScheduleWakeup to poll for completion, ends the turn, and never
picks up the result — the work finishes unreviewed.

Append `--disallowedTools "ScheduleWakeup,CronCreate"` to both `args`
and `resumeArgs` in the anthropic CLI backend so the model cannot reach
for tools that don't survive the run mode. The right pattern in CLI
sessions is Monitor on the background output file, or a synchronous
sub-agent.

3d7523b618 feat(agents): generalized native compaction ownership for CLI backends
Add `ownsNativeCompaction` capability to CliBackendPlugin so backends
that manage their own transcript compaction (e.g. Claude Code) can
declare it once and OpenClaw defers instead of fighting or failing.

Today only Codex declares compaction ownership (via the embedded runner
path + agentHarnessId). Claude-cli never reaches that path because it
runs as a CLI subprocess with no harness id set, so the safeguard
summarizer fires and hard-fails the turn.

This PR:
- Adds `ownsNativeCompaction?: boolean` to the backend plugin type
- Propagates it through all 4 backend resolution paths
- In `runCliTurnCompactionLifecycle`, when a backend declares ownership
but has no harness endpoint, returns a no-op instead of falling
  through to the safeguard
- Sets the flag on claude-cli (first adopter)

Codex's existing native-harness path is unchanged: when
`isNativeHarnessCompactionSession` matches, the harness compaction
endpoint is still called as before.

Generalizes the partial fix in #87785 (codex-scoped) to a capability
any backend can opt into.

b6e9473e9f fix(auth): skip Anthropic API keys for usage status
Fixes #85124.

Anthropic standard API keys no longer resolve as provider usage auth for `openclaw status --usage`, so valid inference keys are not sent to Anthropic's OAuth usage endpoint and surfaced as misleading invalid bearer-token errors.

The provider usage-auth SDK result now has an explicit handled/no-token shape so provider hooks can suppress generic fallback without widening the OAuth helper contract. Docs, Plugin SDK API baseline, and extension package-boundary cache inputs were updated with the new contract.

Thanks @zhangguiping-xydt.
