42133d0c3c feat(mac): show native notification permission in dashboard Notifications settings (#110646)
* feat(mac): show native notification permission in dashboard Notifications settings

The Mac app's embedded Control UI showed the web-push section as
Unsupported/Not subscribed even though the app delivers notifications
natively. The dashboard now installs an openclawNotifications WebKit
bridge (status / request-permission / send-test) and the Notifications
settings page renders native permission state with Enable, Open System
Settings, and Send test actions when hosted in the Mac app. Browsers
keep the existing web-push UI. The notifications section renderer moved
out of the oversized config view module.

* fix(ui): break config view import cycle and satisfy lint/deadcode/i18n gates

Move the notifications section props to a leaf contract (no view.ts
type import), unexport the status-event constant, use bracket access
for the injected dunder global, default-case the status switch, and
refresh the native i18n inventory line offset.

9a3231547b fix(macos): stop Canvas presents from stealing focus (#110245)
* fix(macos): stop Canvas presents from stealing focus

Agent-driven canvas.present/canvas.navigate activated the app with
NSApp.activate(ignoringOtherApps:), yanking keyboard focus from
whatever the user was doing. The Canvas panel's elevated window level
already keeps it visible without app activation, and user entry points
(AppNavigationActions) activate explicitly, so presentation now orders
the panel front without switching apps.

* fix(macos): order Canvas front without taking key focus

* fix(macos): drop showWindow from Canvas window presentation

6903ab3d4f feat(mac): thread agent id through WebChat routes for global-scope sessions (#110118)
- WebChatRoute (sessionKey + normalized agentID) replaces string tracking in
WebChatManager; window/panel reuse compares the full route; session-key
callbacks retain the explicit agent and guard against stale controllers
- WebChatSwiftUIWindowController gains agentID; explicit selection feeds the
  existing MacGatewayChatTransport(defaultGlobalAgentID:)/initialActiveAgentID
seams and is pinned against gateway-default refreshes
- AppNavigationActions.openChat(sessionKey:agentID:) route-aware; Quick Chat's
Command-Return opens the accepted route's agent conversation (global scope
included), retiring the v2 tradeoff comment
- tests: route reuse identity, explicit-vs-default precedence, navigation seam

ed2284c31a fix(macos): keep Canvas hidden for agent content operations (#110107)
* fix(macos): keep Canvas hidden for agent content operations

Agent canvas.evalJS, canvas.snapshot, and canvas.a2ui.* commands routed
through CanvasManager.show, which re-presented the panel and called
NSApp.activate(ignoringOtherApps:) on every content update. After a
gateway restart the hosted A2UI page is dead, so the next agent push
always re-opened a panel the user had closed and stole focus.

Content operations now use a non-presenting ensureController/prepare
path; only canvas.present, canvas.navigate, and user actions reveal the
panel. Snapshot is read-only: it requires a visible matching panel and
returns CANVAS_HIDDEN instead of mutating panel state (WebKit cannot
render ordered-out windows).

8c8ab1ea69 feat(mac): Quick Chat v2 — enable toggle, agent switching, zoom entrance, window screenshots (#109952)
* feat(mac): Quick Chat v2 — enable toggle, agent avatars and switching, zoom entrance, window screenshots

- Settings toggle (openclaw.quickChatEnabled) gating hotkey, menu item, recorder
- agent chip renders avatar image (data URIs only; remote URLs deliberately not
fetched to avoid SSRF), emoji, or tinted monogram; native NSMenu agent picker
routes via canonical agent:<id>:<mainKey> or global+agentId per server contract
- 'main session' capsule removed; placeholder carries the identity
- fade+zoom presentation (96% scale in, 97% out) via frame+alpha animators
- window screenshot picker: labeled overlays on renderable windows (Peekaboo
filtering + z-order hit tests), overlays torn down pre-capture, SCK window
capture, ChatImageProcessor JPEG, auto-send as chat.send attachment with the
draft or a default caption; ownership-token pipeline bound to presentation
and route; user-initiated Screen Recording alert; cancellable bounded discovery
- ⌘Return opens the accepted route's session; global-scope agent threading is a
filed follow-up; locale artifacts refreshed for new strings

- frameless transparent always-on-top quickchat window (on-demand, canvas
pattern), positioned top-third on the cursor monitor, CSS fade+zoom in/out
- global shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Space on X11 (GNOME reserves Alt+Space); tray
'Quick Chat' item is the Wayland entry point; blur/Esc/close-request hide
- sends via the CLI agent turn with --message-file staged 0600 (argv is
world-readable procfs) and cleaned up after the turn; failures surface as
desktop notifications; Ctrl+Enter also opens the dashboard
- default-agent identity chip (emoji/monogram) from agents list --json, 60s cache

1859cdb231 feat(mac): Quick Chat — global-shortcut floating composer for the main session (#109720)
* feat(mac): add Quick Chat floating composer with global shortcut

- Spotlight-style non-activating key panel on Option+Space (KeyboardShortcuts
3.0.1 exact-pinned, recorder row in Settings -> General) plus a menu bar item
- shows the main-session agent identity via agent.identity.get with a
'main session' chip; Return sends via chat.send reusing the idempotency key
on ambiguous retries; Cmd+Return also opens full chat; Shift+Return newline
- targeted permission strip (notifications/accessibility/screen recording)
with a scoped 1s status poll while visible; grant flow keeps the bar alive
  and avoids PermissionMonitor's AppleScript probe
- extract shared ChatSendStatus acceptance mapping; TalkModeRuntime adopts it

b65a2d836a feat(linux): discover gateways via Bonjour and open their dashboard (#108115)
New discovery.rs browses _openclaw-gw._tcp with a lifetime mdns-sd
browser, keeps a fullname-keyed snapshot (resolved updates replace,
goodbye/TTL removes), and mirrors the native clients' TXT contract and
direct-selection gate (resolved SRV endpoint routing; tailnetDns is a
hint only). The bootstrap page lists discovered gateways and connecting
navigates the dashboard WebView to the resolved endpoint, validated
against the live snapshot; remote selection cancels the local watchdog
so an in-flight local bootstrap cannot steal the WebView back.

b363d5a293 feat(linux): canvas UI via CLI-node + Tauri app IPC bridge (#107633)
* feat(linux): canvas via CLI-node + Tauri app IPC bridge

* refactor: extract gateway helper modules

* build(linux-canvas): register plugin package in lockfile

* fix(linux-canvas): move canvas advertise test out of core, regen docs/protocol/deadcode

* fix(gateway): break node-catalog/registry import cycle via leaf normalize module; add canvas glossary term

* style: oxfmt invoke.ts and runtime.ts after buildNodeEventParams extraction

* fix(linux): load Canvas WebView via dedicated data_directory context

Wry's Linux/WebKitGTK incognito mode discards Tauri's registered
WebContext (wry webkitgtk/mod.rs), so the Canvas window got a fresh
ephemeral context without the openclaw-canvas:// scheme handler — the
bundled A2UI page never committed (stayed about:blank) and every A2UI
command timed out. Use an isolated cache-backed data_directory instead,
which keeps the protocol handler while still isolating Canvas storage
from the dashboard window.

* fix(linux): keep Canvas WebView ephemeral via incognito + data_directory

Autoreview flagged that a dedicated data_directory alone persists Canvas
browser state (cookies, localStorage, IndexedDB, service workers) across
restarts, so an agent that navigates Canvas to a site could leak an
authenticated session into a later session. iOS uses a non-persistent
store; Linux should match.

Add .incognito(true) alongside .data_directory(): the distinct directory
gives Tauri a fresh WebContext key so it still attaches the
openclaw-canvas:// protocol closure, and incognito makes Wry swap in a
fresh *ephemeral* context carrying those protocols. Live-verified on a
Wayland/WebKitGTK box: the bundled page still loads
(location.href=openclaw-canvas://localhost/index.html, openclawA2UI
present, A2UI renders) and the canvas-webview dir holds no persistent
cookie/storage files.

a6a0716486 feat(setup): rename Crestodian to OpenClaw system agent
User-facing name is now OpenClaw (the system speaks); internal code name is
system-agent. Gateway methods crestodian.* -> openclaw.chat/openclaw.setup.*,
agent tool -> openclaw, reserved agent ids openclaw + retired crestodian.
openclaw setup routes: onboarding flags -> onboard, -m/--yes -> system agent,
bare configured interactive -> OpenClaw chat, unconfigured -> onboarding.
Hidden crestodian CLI and /crestodian TUI aliases kept; docs moved to
docs/cli/openclaw.md with redirect stub. macOS/Android strings in lockstep.

0fe2132d5f feat(mac): gate Peekaboo Bridge on Computer Control (#106531)
Both settings grant local UI automation, so run PeekabooBridge only while
Allow Computer Control is on. The toggle now reflects the effective state and
is disabled when Computer Control is off; users drive Peekaboo via its own Mac
app in that case. Removes the confusing standalone bridge switch.

c6dc5bc764 fix(canvas): hosted pages fail on macOS with scoped Gateway auth (#105336)
* fix(canvas): harden hosted Canvas on macOS

Resolve Gateway-hosted Canvas and A2UI targets through refreshed node capabilities, keep bridge and live-reload behavior correct, and restrict native action dispatch to the exact trusted main-frame document.

Preserve scalar evaluation results, secure action IDs, and hidden state-directory watching.

a8b104c4e3 feat(mac): swap dashboard titlebar buttons with sidebar state (#105175)
* feat(mac): swap dashboard titlebar buttons with sidebar state

The Control UI reports sidebar collapsed/width over a new openclawNav
WKScriptMessage; the titlebar accessory shows toggle+back/forward
right-aligned to the sidebar edge while expanded, and
toggle+search+new-session while collapsed. Search opens the command
palette and + opens the new-session surface via openclaw:native-*
events. Older gateway bundles that never report keep the shipped
toggle/back/forward layout.
