84cd3aa7f5 fix(cli): call process.exit(1) in root help and version fast path error handlers (#97793) (#97807) 
The error handler in tryHandleRootHelpFastPath only set process.exitCode=1
without calling process.exit(). When dangling async handles exist (timers,
connections, promises), the Node event loop stays open and the CLI hangs
indefinitely instead of returning to the terminal.

In tryHandleRootVersionFastPath, the default onError handler called
process.exit(1) directly, bypassing the injected exit seam that the
success path already uses. Changed to exit(1) (deps.exit ?? process.exit)
so tests and embedded callers can observe and control exit on failure.

Added rejection-path tests for version fast path: injected exit called
on resolveVersion rejection, and caller-supplied onError honored.

Fixes #97793.

b81414be45 fix: expose safe restart deferral bypass (#78658) 
Expose the existing safe-restart skipDeferral escape hatch through gateway RPC and the daemon CLI, document the flag, and add restart/CLI regression coverage.

Also keep CLI failure output off the cold bootstrap graph and align CLI guidance expectations needed by current CI.

ca8121d22b fix: add root guard to prevent CLI execution as root (#67478) 
Block openclaw CLI from running as root (uid 0) to prevent:
- Separate state directory at /root/.openclaw/
- Conflicting systemd user services racing on port 18789
- Root-owned files in the service user state dir (EACCES)

The guard runs early in src/entry.ts before any state/config operations.
Root-level --help and --version bypass the guard so users can discover
the OPENCLAW_ALLOW_ROOT=1 override. Subcommand help paths still enforce
the guard since they enter runCli() and resolve state directories.

Closes #67478

26acb77450 fix: guard entry.ts top-level code with isMainModule to prevent duplicate gateway start 
The bundler exports shared symbols from dist/entry.js, so other chunks
import it as a dependency. When dist/index.js is the actual entry point
(e.g. systemd service), lazy module loading eventually imports entry.js,
triggering its unguarded top-level code which calls runCli(process.argv)
a second time. This starts a duplicate gateway that fails on lock/port
contention and crashes the process with exit(1), causing a restart loop.

Wrap all top-level executable code in an isMainModule() check so it only
runs when entry.ts is the actual main module, not when imported as a
shared dependency by the bundler.
